 Gurdwara Sahib Mata Bhag Kaur Ji is situated just opposite to Gurdwara Tambu Sahib, near Sri Darbar Sahib. When the forty sikhs returned home after disowning Guru Gobind Singh Ji as their Guru, they were condemned by all the people, including their women folk. Mai Bhago then induced them to seek forgiveness from the Guruji. She led them on this mission. However, at Muktsar, there was a fierce battle between the Sikhs and the Mughals.
