The first meeting of the Sri Guru Hargobind Library was held on 9th July 1995. The original members were Darshan Singh, Jang Bahadur Singh, Vimaldeep Singh, Veerinder Singh, Surindar Singh and Piara Singh. The library has a seating capacity for 30 persons, has 1200 books, 100 CDs and 200 audio cassettes. The library subscribes 3 weekly newspapers (Ajeet, Pubjabi Tribune, Desh Pardesh) and several monthly magazines. Live kirtan is recorded every Wednesday and Sunday and these can be duplicated for the Sangat on a fast copier. The library's computer is linked to the internet.
