The Gurdwara was founded on Vaisakhi day 1981 by 16 active families of that time. Weekly Diwan is held on Sunday between 9.30 AM- 12.30 PM. "Istri Satsang" is held on the first Saturday of every month between 2.30 PM- 4.30 PM. A weekly radio programme is broadcast in Punjabi on Wednesday between 11 AM -12 Noon. A 5-acre plot has been purchased nearby for a future complex. There are about 3000 members of the Sikh community in the area.
